Hidden Treasures Booking Terms & Conditions

User agreement between the user (you) and Hidden Treasures Travel & Tours.

All bookings you make through our call centres and via this website (httravel.co.uk) are governed by these terms & conditions.

All airfares are subject to availability at time of booking and are not guaranteed until purchased and the e-tickets have been issued.

Airfares may change without notice prior to e-ticket issuance. Fares may not be available on all flights and/or travel dates while certain fares may only be available for new bookings.

Taxes and fees are subject to change as required by law or exchange rate if collected in a foreign currency. Full fare price, including all applicable taxes and fees, must be paid at the time of purchase. Taxes and fees not collected on the e-ticket (for example, a departure tax collected at an airport payable directly to a government official) are not included in the fare and must be paid directly to the relevant authority.

Please check your airline e-ticket and reservation when you receive it and contact us immediately if you have any questions. The retention of e-tickets, reservations, or bookings after issuance shall constitute acceptance of all the provisions in the conditions listed hereto as well as those terms and conditions set down in the announcements and circulars of the airline.

Most discount and promotional airfares have certain restrictions, including but not limited to, being fully non-refundable and/or having change of reservation fees attached to them.

Some fares are subject to date and time of travel restrictions and many fares also require minimum and/or maximum stays to qualify for them. If you need to cancel or change your e-ticket reservation, please contact us immediately but no later than prior to the time of departure of the next scheduled flight. Failure to contact us prior to a scheduled departure (‘no-show’) will result in the forfeiture of the e-ticket value as well as the cancellation of all downline bookings for that e-ticket reservation.

Any personally identifiable information we collect from you is subject to our Privacy Policy.

Please check-in at least 2 hours prior to scheduled departure for domestic flights and at least three hours prior to scheduled departure for international flights. Failure to check-in in a timely manner may result in the airline denying you boarding and forfeiture of your e-ticket value.

Some e-tickets include checked baggage in the airfare and some do not include any checked baggage allowance. Please consult one of our agents to verify how much, if any, checked luggage you are permitted with your airfare purchase.

ALTERATIONS TO CONFIRMED BOOKINGS

If you decide to change any portion of your confirmed arrangements prior to departure or during your trip, we will attempt to assist you. Certain bookings may not be able to be changed. Administrative charges of £10.00 or more per change/per person are advised at time of booking, provided to you upon confirmation, and depend upon circumstances of the request.

FORCE MAJEURE

“Force Majeure” means, in relation to Hidden Treasures Travel & Tours, any circumstances beyond the reasonable control of Hidden Treasures Travel & Tours , (including, but without limitation, acts of God, explosion, flood, tempest, forceful wind, fire or accident, war or threat of war declared or undeclared, acts of terrorism, sabotage, insurrection, riots, strikes, civil disturbance, requisition, sickness, quarantine, government intervention, weather conditions, defects in machinery and vehicles, delay, wildlife, or other untoward occurrences).

Hidden Treasures Travel & Tours shall not be deemed to be in breach of these terms and conditions or otherwise be liable to you, by reason of delay in performance, or by non-performance, of any of its obligations hereunder to the extent that any such delay or non-performance is due to any Force Majeure. THE PURCHASE OF TRAVEL INSURANCE IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED ON ALL TRIPS.

If  Hidden Treasures Travel & Tours and/or any of its travel suppliers, are affected by Force Majeure, they shall be entitled to, and may in their sole and absolute discretion, vary or cancel any itinerary or arrangement in relation to the trip. Payment of any refund by Hidden Treasures Travel & Tours to you as a result of the non-performance of any obligations hereunder shall remain in its sole and absolute discretion, although  Hidden Treasures Travel & Tours shall use its reasonable efforts to reimburse you where possible. However, Hidden Treasures Travel & Tours shall be entitled to deduct from any refund recoverable the reasonable actual and potential costs to Hidden Treasures Travel & Tours of the Force Majeure and applicable cancellation fees.

Regarding civil unrest, once Hidden Treasures Travel & Tours has investigated the prevailing situation, as it deems fit, it shall remain in Hidden Treasures Travel & Tours’s sole and absolute discretion whether to proceed with the trip. You may in such circumstances cancel the trip subject to Hidden Treasures Travel & Tours  and each supplier’s terms and conditions.

USE OF HIDDEN TREASURES TRAVEL & TOURS ACCESS AND INFORMATION FOR TRAVEL BOOKINGS

  1. a) You warrant that you are at least 18 years of age and possess the legal authority to enter into this agreement and to make travel bookings with Hidden Treasures Travel & Tours by any means, including our website in accordance with all terms and conditions herein.
  2. b) You agree to be financially responsible for all your travel, events and tour bookings (as well as for use of your account by others, including, without limitation, minors living with you).
  3. c) You agree to supervise all usage of Hidden Treasures Travel & Tours communications by minors under your name or account. You also warrant that all information supplied by you or members of your household transacting business with Hidden Treasures Travel & Tours is true and accurate. Without limitation, any speculative, false, or fraudulent reservation or any reservation in anticipation of demand is prohibited.
  4. d) You agree that the travel services reservations facilities provided by Hidden Treasures Travel & Tours shall be used only to make legitimate reservations or purchases for you or for another person for whom you are legally authorized to act.

Separate supplier terms and conditions will apply to your reservation and purchase of travel-related goods and services that you select. You agree to abide by the terms and conditions of purchase imposed by Hidden Treasures Travel & Tours and any supplier with whom you elect to deal, including, but not limited to, payment of all amounts when due and compliance with the supplier’s rules and restrictions regarding availability and use of fares, products, or services. You understand that any violation of any such supplier’s conditions of purchase may result in cancellation of your reservation(s) or purchase, in your being denied access to any flights, in your forfeiting any monies paid for such reservation(s) or purchase, and in Hidden Treasures Travel & Tours debiting your account for any costs Hidden Treasures Travel & Tours incurs as a result of such violation. You shall be completely responsible for all charges, fees, duties, taxes, and assessments arising out of your travel bookings through access provided by Hidden Treasures Travel & Tours.

APIS (Advance Passenger Information)

All airlines are required to collect Advance Passenger Information from passengers before travel to or from the USA and certain other countries. You agree to supply this information to Hidden Treasures Travel & Tours and consent to Hidden Treasures Travel & Tours passing this information to the airlines or consolidators who may onward disclose it to foreign authorities. If you do not supply Advance Passenger Information, you may be refused entry to these countries. It is also important that the information is accurate so that you do not have any delay when you pass through Immigration on arrival in these countries. The information you will be asked to provide will depend on the country you are visiting but will include passport information, city and country of residence and destination address if travelling to the USA (for all travellers on your booking).

If you are travelling to a country that requires Advance Passenger information, Hidden Treasures Travel & Tours will ask you to fill out this information on the confirmation page after you have completed your booking. If you do not have the information to hand, Hidden Treasures Travel & Tours will send you an email confirmation containing a link where you can enter the information manually at any time before your departure.

Schedule Change

Hidden Treasures Travel & Tours will try wherever possible to notify customers of schedule changes when there is sufficient prior notice, we cannot be responsible for missed flights or any additional costs incurred if customers do not follow these instructions. Hidden Treasures Travel & Tours recommends that customers contact airline on the day of travel to ensure that their flight is operating as per schedule.

In the event there is a schedule change i.e the airline changes the flight departure dates/times or cancels its operation altogether, you will be offered an alternative flight or a refund. If you decide to cancel, we shall apply for the refund from the airline and will return this to you less our administrative fee of £20.00 per person. The refunds from airline may take longer than usual or/and can be in the form of credit or EMD (Electronic miscellaneous document) for future use.

Your Financial Protection

When you buy an ATOL protected flight ticket or flight inclusive holiday from us you will receive an ATOL Certificate. This lists what is financially protected, where you can get information on what this means for you and who to contact if things go wrong.

We, or the suppliers identified on your ATOL Certificate, will provide you with the services listed on the ATOL Certificate (or a suitable alternative). In some cases, where neither we nor the supplier can do so for reasons of insolvency, an alternative ATOL holder may provide you with the services you have bought or a suitable alternative (at no extra cost to you). You agree to accept that in those circumstances the alternative ATOL holder will perform those obligations and you agree to pay any money outstanding to be paid by you under your contract to that alternative ATOL holder. However, you also agree that in some cases it will not be possible to appoint an alternative ATOL holder, in which case you will be entitled to make a claim under the ATOL scheme (or your credit card issuer where applicable).

If we, or the suppliers identified on your ATOL certificate, are unable to provide the services listed (or a suitable alternative, through an alternative ATOL holder or otherwise) for reasons of insolvency, the Trustees of the Air Travel Trust may make a payment to (or confer a benefit on) you under the ATOL scheme. You agree that in return for such a payment or benefit you assign absolutely to those Trustees any claims which you have or may have arising out of or relating to the non-provision of the services, including any claim against us, the travel agent (or your credit card issuer where applicable). You also agree that any such claims may be re-assigned to another body, if that other body has paid sums you have claimed under the ATOL scheme.

Many of the flights and flight-inclusive holidays on this website are financially protected by the ATOL scheme. But ATOL protection does not apply to all holiday and travel services listed [in this brochure/on this website]. Please ask us to confirm what protection may apply to your booking. If you do not receive an ATOL Certificate, then the booking will not be ATOL protected. If you do receive an ATOL Certificate but all the parts of your trip are not listed on it, those parts will not be ATOL protected.
